Synopsis
Set in 1997 during South Korea’s devastating financial crisis, Typhoon Trading Company tells the story of Kang Tae Pung, the privileged son of a small business owner. Having lived a carefree life under his father’s success, Tae Pung’s world is turned upside down when the economic crash hits—and his father suddenly passes away.
Determined to protect the company his father built with love and dedication, Tae Pung steps up as CEO despite his inexperience. Once known for his immaturity, he now faces harsh realities armed only with compassion, persistence, and a deep sense of duty. Alongside his family and loyal employees, he fights to keep Typhoon Trading Company alive.
